From November 4th to 8th, senior researcher PhD Carolina Cardell, from the University of Granada, has made a researcher stay at the Instituto Técnico de Lisboa (Portugal), to collaborate with PhD Amélia Dionísio, another project member.
During her stay, with Roberta’s help, they exposed pigment and their corresponding tempera mock-ups to different temperatures and two types of cooling, with the aim of study how they react under these circumstances. Furthermore, they used a nano-CT (Computed Tomography) technique to characterize some samples of the project.
This study is part of the PID2021-123395OA-I00 research project funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033, by “ERDF A way of making Europe”, by the “European Union” and, by the Xunta de Galicia ED431F 2022/07 project. For more information: https://laseringph.webs.uvigo.es/.
