Laura Andrés-Herguedas

Laura Andrés Herguedas presented a work about some recent progresses from the #LaseringPH

The 2nd edition of the Jornadas de Investigadores Júnior en Patrimonio (#JIP) was held at the Museo de América in Madrid (Spain) from 2nd to 4th of April of 2025. The event was organized by the PTI-PAIS of the CSIC and the Museo de América. It also received the support of Ge-IIC, the TechnoHeritage network, EXPM, and the GEQP of the RSEQ.

Laura Andrés Herguedas, predoctoral student from the University of Vigo, presented the work entitled “Aplicación de la tecnología láser como método de limpieza para pintura mural al temple”. She talked about some recent progresses from the #LaseringPH project, which explores the use of laser technology for cleaning tempera wall paintings. This case in particular, the removing of soiling from tempera mock-ups using three different lasers working with different parameters.

We extend our sincere thanks to the organizing and evaluation committees. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
