At the University of Turin, she obtained a BSc in Cultural Heritage Sciences and Technology (2009) and two MSc, respectively in Science for Cultural Heritage (2012), and in Materials Science for Cultural Heritage (2016). In 2020, she earned a PhD in Cultural Heritage Protection at the University of Vigo, Spain.
At CCR, she carries out diagnostic and research activities, focusing on the characterization of CH materials and the investigation of deterioration processes with a multi-analytical approach. In recent years, she has mainly dealt with the issues of graffiti removal from ornamental stones and the conservation of street art, participating in the European project CAPuS – Conservation of Art in Public Spaces. Starting from the experience of her PhD research and the CAPuS project, she has been focusing on the comparison between laser methodologies and other cleaning procedures, broadening her interest in the analytical techniques to use for scientific assessment and monitoring of laser cleaning on several materials.
She has published some papers in SCI-JCR journals (h-index: 6), and participated in several Italian and international conferences with oral communications or posters. After graduation, she stayed some months at foreign research institutions, i.e. the Getty Conservation Institute (USA, 2014) and the Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España (Spain, 2015).
