Mr. Gonzalo Buceta Bruneti is a researcher in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Vigo. He holds a BSc in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (CH) specializing in Archeology (2018) and a MSc in Valuation, Management and Protection of Cultural Heritage (2021). 

During the last 25 years it has been dedicated to the conservation of the Archaeological, Ethnographic and Architectural CH throughout the Spanish geography. 

His main research lines are related to the characterization of granite and lime mortars. He has directed, within the scope of the private company, a R+D project titled “Project for the study, control and cleaning of graffiti in the historic centers of Galicia”. 

He has published scientific articles on interventions on CH and has participated in various symposia, meetings and conferences in the same field. 

Entrepreneur and interested in knowledge on materials technology, he is a defender of a multidisciplinary work in the protection of the CH. “Without diagnosis and analysis, a good conservation and restoration project cannot be written when it concerns CH”.
